Franz - Sorgund General Armor

Here is the new template I'll be using for Franz/Skulhoarse any time I feel like drawing some new suit of armor on either one of them. I actually made sure I drew a naked pose under here to make it easier to play with. This was initially meant to be an inking exercise but I wanted to go crazy on the rendering too. A wise man would have done a texture overlay for the textures on the cloth. However, I took the path of the madman and drew all of that texture on myself. Now my hand hurts...

Anyway, what you're looking at is actually Franz's default armor. The difference is this is how it's SUPPOSED to look if rendered properly, as opposed to the usual lazy way I draw/color it. Then again given the level of detail that'd be understandable. It's precisely for reasons like this that I made the much simpler tournament armor for Franz. I did change the armor's trim to gold as opposed to white as before because I ended up liking the gold more. Besides, the war with Sorgund is over. Heh.

As for how Franz came to get this armor, he got it from a defeated Sorgund general in the previous war while he was still Skulhoarse, in exchange for the general's life. Franz likes to wear it because it's a suit of armor crafted in Aether and as such it makes him feel more at home. Then again, one wonders how he's able to walk around Nearan cities without causing alarm. Charisma maybe?
