It's been a while since I drew something this complex. Although I'd been drawing some other minor things here and there, I haven't done a full page mess like this for a long damn time. It seems it's been too long because it took me something like 6 or 7 hours to do this (that includes distractions and total screwups/corrections). Either way, the end result is pretty nice.
This is a wallpaper or promo type thing for 's game, Sacred Earth: Bonds II. This picture includes only the good guys (since I don't even know half the bad guys yet). Since I had been in SEB2 mode for a while I figured I had to draw something like this, and suddenly this composition came into my head. The reason I laid it out this way is because the 3 middle panels represent the 3 selectable heroines (bottom of each panel) and the party members associated with their respective paths. In essence I was doing 5 separate compositions though I had to tie them together. I found a way of cleverly filling in unused space by putting that cloud stuff on it. SInce SEB2 has a lot to do with clouds and flying things this works. It looks a bit too much like my reclamation wallpaper thing but oh well. I might color this too.
Oh and before I forget, the logo was something supplied me with so I didn't actualy draw that. Heh.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
